Please have the driveway clear of cars, access as close as possible to the front door cleared. Floors vacuumed with all small items removed. Do not stack beds, furniture and access point to rooms with items as this hinders the cleaning process and we will not be held responsible for any breakages this causes. Please have all pets secured before arrival. I love dogs and pets but some don’t like me!!

At Prestige we use a powerful van mounted cleaning system, this means hotter water and quicker drying times. Carpet drying times can depend on a number of factors including the weather, soiling and air flow in your home. We always use a specialised rinsing agent which helps the carpets dry faster. A time frame between 2-6 hours and your carpets will be dry. We guarantee that your carpets will dry without any smell or other issues.
Yes, we are happy to quote for your job without obligation. This can usually be done without an in home visit. Lounges can be priced with pictures, Carpets by the room and Tiles by floor plans which can usually be found online. When you are ready to book, just let us know and we’ll reserve your appointment.
Carpet manufacturers recommend getting your carpets professionally steam cleaned every 12 months. Even if there are no visible stains, it’s healthiest to regularly remove the embedded micro-debris and bacteria brought in from the outside world by humans and animals, the dander (discarded skin cells from animals and humans) that domestic-grade cleaning can’t reach, and sanitise carpets with ultra-advanced deep steam cleaning and extraction. If you have indoor pets and/or young children your carpet will require steam cleaning every 6 months.
Yes it is, we use neutralising rinses during the extraction process to remove any chemicals used in the cleaning process. This helps carpets dry faster and cleaner.
Yes, Prestige is fully insured to enter your home with equipment to care for your carpets, tiles and upholstery.
This is completely up to you, Prestige will clean whatever carpet we can access using our tools. We recommend that all small items of furniture like bed side tables, dining chairs etc be removed from the room prior to our arrival. 95% of clients leave large items like beds and tv cabinets and we clean around. Remember that carpet is soiled mainly due to foot traffic. Furniture cannot be moved by Prestige or the client during the clean due to a number of factors including the cleaning process, insurance and WHS obligations. We ask that items are not stacked on beds and other furniture as we need to move around the room using the carpet cleaning wand.
While having your carpet, tiles, or upholstery cleaned, it’s usually best for pets to be comfortably confined to the backyard, their training crate, or a spare room until work is completed. The noise and activity of cleaning equipment at your place can cause animals to become overly curious or even a bit stressed. If needed, you can talk to Prestige about your animals before the booking.
Yes steam cleaning is suitable for all types of carpets. We carry the best and most varied chemicals and spotters for all types of carpets and stains.
Most rugs are suitable for steam cleaning, however some natural fiber, handmade and woven rugs are not. Prestige can advise whether your rugs are suitable or not. We clean rugs on site.
